Quilting Jacket by GASA *. A lightweight, yet warm jacket with thin padding. This quilted and striped tailored jacket is Designed to look like exposed lining. The collar and cuffs are made of glossy silk. Relaxed fit with two front patch pockets and button closure. Each of the three buttons is different, giving it a playful yet formal feel. Based in Tokyo, Japan, GASA * designs their products focusing on the detail, the arrangement of color and their balance. Led by designer Mie Igarashi, GASA * uses the elements and techniques of ethnic costume while incorporating new technology in their designs. By also making their original fabric from natural materials, GASA * creates the total items, from the dress to the accessories, and proposes a singular, meticulously crafted layered look. The brand receives its name from the Spanish word for Gauze, a delicate but strong natural fabric that has many uses. GASA * designs and manufactures their unique clothing in reflection of that.
