The hand dyeing method allows the boundaries of the colors to bleed and blend, creating a variety of expressions. The collar is decorated with embroidery, giving it a neat and antique design. A flared silhouette with a gentle drape from the shoulder lines and gathers on the back. The hem has a light round cut, and the cuffs have slit sleeves. Based in Tokyo, Japan, GASA * designs their products focusing on the detail, the arrangement of color and their balance. Led by designer Mie Igarashi, GASA * uses the elements and techniques of ethnic costume while incorporating new technology in their designs. By also making their original fabric from natural materials, GASA * creates the total items, from the dress to the accessories, and proposes a singular, meticulously crafted layered look. The brand receives its name from the Spanish word for Gauze, a delicate but strong natural fabric that has many uses. GASA * designs and manufactures their unique clothing in reflection of that.
