Pleated wide pants from Japanese brand Pas de Calais. A light, relaxed fit pleated pants made of a high-thread count cotton with Oumisarashi finish – the fabric is exposed to sunlight while covered with lye, creating a bleaching effect that still leaves the fabric soft. These pants have a button and zipper closure, elastic waist with drawstring and side pockets. Created in Japan in 1998 by Yukari Suda, Pas de Calais takes both its inspiration and its name from Pas-de-Calais in Northern France, a region known for its artisanal heritage and scenic landscape. The brand develops its own original textiles by combining ancient dying techniques with the contemporary tailoring, thus creating a signature style marked by its natural tones and romantic silhouettes.
